Denim is less forgiving than most cut-and-sew categories because the fabric changes after sewing. Shrinkage, twist and shade all move during washing, so a capability review should look at how pattern, sewing and wash decisions are connected rather than at each step in isolation.
When you review a denim supplier, ask how the pattern allows for wash shrinkage, who decides the wash recipe, how shade is recorded once a sample is approved, and how hardware and patches are sourced and checked. Clear answers to those questions matter more than a long list of machines.
We work with brands on jeans, denim jackets, shorts and shirts. Sampling starts once the brief is clear, with a typical sample lead time of 7 days, and the MOQ is 100 pcs. Bulk timing depends on order quantity and is confirmed after the sample and materials are approved.
The checklist below is how we break a denim program into stages that can each be approved. It is also a useful structure for comparing quotes from several factories, because it shows where costs and risks actually sit.
If you already know the style you need, go straight to the product programs to find the closest page and brief template. If you are still deciding on fabric or wash, the denim buying guides in the resources section explain the trade-offs in plain terms. When you are ready, the RFQ checklist shows the fields that make a denim quote accurate, and the contact page lists email and WhatsApp options.
Can one supplier handle both jeans and denim jackets? Yes — we develop jeans, denim jackets, shorts and shirts, and planning them together helps keep fabric and wash consistent across a collection. Jackets have more components, such as collars, button plackets and chest pockets, so their samples often need a little more review time.
Do you work from a reference garment? Yes. Many buyers send a pair of jeans they like with a list of changes. We measure the reference, discuss which details to keep and which to change, and build the sample from there. A tech pack is helpful but not required to start.
